The first step you need to get your project started is to pick a project. There are many project idea sources on the internet, but I would like you to think about your interests and come up with an original idea. Many of the best projects are projects that attempt to answer a real world question or solve a problem.
As you are deciding on a topic, you should answer "yes" to EVERY question below for the problem you have chosen.
~Is this a problem I am interested in? ~Will I have enough time to complete the project ( a minimum of three trials) by the due dates? ~Is this problem specific enough so that I will be able to define exactly what I need to do and test? ~Is the problem testing only ONE variable? ~Will I be able to obtain the materials needed to complete the project? ~Is the problem testing something that can be measured? ~Is this a project I will be able to accomplish with very little or no outside help?
